Who we are. The Victoria Hospice and Palliative Care Foundation was formed in 1997 for the purpose of soliciting and stewarding donated funds to support the care provided by Victoria Hospice.  Funds are raised from a variety of sources, including private donations, foundation grants, corporate sponsorship and fundraising events.  Annual funding priorities are determined by the Victoria Hospice Society.  The volunteer Board of Directors is comprised of elected members of the public.

The Victoria Hospice and Palliative Care Foundation is a registered charity (Charitable Registration # 87440-9964-RR0001) by the Canada Revenue Agency under the Income Tax Act.  Charitable tax receipts for donations to Victoria Hospice are issued for the full amount allowable under Canada Revenue Agency regulations.
